Juice Recipe for Low Blood Pressure (Hypotension)

Low blood pressure (hypotension) is pressure that is so low that it causes symptoms or signs due to the low flow of blood through the arteries and veins. When the flow of blood is too low to deliver enough oxygen and nutrients to vital organs such as the brain, heart, and kidney, the organs do not function normally and may be permanently damaged.

Usually people with low blood pressure also have low blood sugar, so this juice improves low blood sugar as well.  Most patients have kidney problems, and it may help to ingest “black” food such as black sesame, black bean and black sticky rice with sea salt.

Drink 4 to 6 cups of this juice everyday; 2 in the morning, 1 before lunch, 2 in the afternoon, and 1 before dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 beetroot, peeled and sectioned
  • 1 carrot, sectioned
  • 2 tomatoes, sectioned
  • 1/2 cup black grape
  • 1 kiwi, peeled (*)
  • 1/2 cup black date

Other

  • 4 slices ginger
  • 2 teaspoons wolfberry (lycium barbarum)
  • 1 teaspoon black sesame
  • 2 teaspoons flaxseed
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon licorice powder
  • 1/3 teaspoon cumin powder
  • sea salt

Process through a juicer and serve. It is even better if you use distilled water.

* If you can remove the hair, it is nice to keep the skin.

 

Juice Recipe for Low Blood Sugar (Hypoglycemia)

Hypoglycemia (Hypoglycaemia in British English) is the medical term for a pathologic state produced by a lower than normal level of glucose (sugar) in the blood. Hypoglycemia can produce a variety of symptoms and effects but the principal problems arise from an inadequate supply of glucose as fuel to the brain, resulting in impairment of function (neuroglycopenia). Derangements of function can range from vaguely “feeling bad” to coma and (rarely) permanent brain damage or death. Hypoglycemia can arise from many causes and can occur at any age.

People with low blood sugar are suggested to have multiple meals a day with less amount in each. Drink 4 to 6 cups of this juice everyday and stay away from noodle, bread, cake, dessert, peanut, cashew, milk product and BBQ food.  It is good to eat vegetables, fruit, corn, potato, seaweed, laver and seafood.

  • 1 potato, sectioned
  • 1 tomato, sectioned
  • 1/2 cup blueberry

  • 1 teaspoon licorice powder
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 4 granulated black pepper
  • some wolfberry (lycium barbarum)

Process through a juicer and serve. It is even better if you use distilled water.

 

Juice Recipe for Diabetes (Type 2)

This juice improves high blood sugar and high blood pressure.

Diabetes is a disease in which the body does not produce or properly use insulin.  Cucumber lowers blood sugar (glucose) and blood pressure.  Swiss chard has phytochemicals similar with insulin so it helps lower blood sugar and remove fatigue.  Clove powder can lower blood sugar, triglyceride and cholesterol.  Fenugreek powder helps balance blood sugar in diabetes and aids to lower cholesterol.

Diabetes Type 2 is usually caused by wheat powder products and fried food.  Drink 4 to 6 cups of this juice everyday and stay away from noodle, bread, cake, dessert and BBQ food.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 beetroot, peeled and sectioned
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 cucumber, sectioned
  • some swiss chard
  • 1 corn (grain)
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 lemon, peeled

Other

  • 3 teaspoons flaxseed
  • 1/3 teaspoon cinnamon powder (or fenugreek powder)
  • 1/3 teaspoon clove powder
  • 2 teaspoons of bee pollen

Optional

  • some wolfberry (lycium barbarum)
  • ginger

Process through a juicer and serve. It is even better if you use distilled water.

 

Juice Recipe for Diabetes (Type 1 and Type 2)

This juice is for high blood sugar and high blood pressure.

Diabetes is a disease in which the body does not produce or properly use insulin.  The human body wants blood glucose (blood sugar) maintained in a very narrow range.  Insulin and glucagon are the hormones which make this happen.   Insulin is a hormone that is needed to convert sugar, starches and other food into energy needed for daily life.  There are 23.6 million children and adults in the United States, or 7.8% of the population, who have diabetes. While an estimated 17.9 million have been diagnosed with diabetes, unfortunately, 5.7 million people (or nearly one quarter) are unaware that they have the disease.

Drink 4 to 6 cups of this juice everyday and stay away from noodle, bread, cake, dessert, peanut, cashew, milk product and BBQ food.

  • 1/2 beetroot, peeled and sectioned
  • 1/2 bitter melon, sectioned
  • 1/2 cucumber, sectioned
  • some swiss chard
  • 1/2 cup blueberry
  • 1 lemon, peeled

  • 1/3 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 2 teaspoons of bee pollen

Liver disease is a term for a collection of conditions, diseases, and infections that affect the cells, tissues, structures, or functions of the liver.  If the liver becomes inflamed or infected, its ability to perform these functions may be impaired. Liver disease and infections are caused by a variety of conditions including viral infections, bacterial invasion, and chemical or physical changes within the body. The most common cause of liver damage is malnutrition, especially that which occurs with alcoholism.

Drink 4 to 6 cups of this juice everyday and stay away from cigarettes and alcohol.  Artichoke is also good for liver health.

  • 1 beetroot, peeled and sectioned
  • some alfalfa sprout
  • 4 asparagus
  • some pieces of cabbage
  • 1/2 pear
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 lemon

Other

  • 2 teaspoons of lecithin
  • caraway
  • rosemary
  • parsley
  • basil

Generally constipation means that a person has three bowel movements or fewer in a week. The stool is hard and dry. Sometimes it is painful to pass. At one time or another, almost everyone gets constipated. In most cases, it lasts for a short time and is not serious. Drink 4 to 6 cups of this juice daily and you may have bowel movements everyday.

  • 1 piece of corn (grain)
  • 1 bunch of spinach
  • 4 slices of pineapple
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 4 figs
  • 4 (california) plums

Other

  • hazelnut
  • flaxseed
  • white sesame seeds
  • fiber powder
